Interpreting & Communication Services
Our qualified, in-house team provide the following services face to face and remotely.
BSL & Sign Supported English Interpreting
Our team of NRCPD registered and trainee sign language interpreters (RSLI and TSLI) are all DBS checked. Some also have additional clearances such as BPSS and SC.

Note-taking
We have a team of experienced manual and electronic notetakers to provide notes within education and workplace settings.
Deafblind Interpreting
Some of our team are also trained and qualified in Deafblind hands-on and Deafblind manual & visual frame (face to face only).
Communication Support Workers (CSWs)
(BSL Level 3 to 6) Our CSWs are used to facilitate communication in lectures, workshops, and seminars so that Deaf and Hard of Hearing students have the same access to further education as their hearing peers. They are interviewed and suitably matched to clients and are mentored and supervised by our in-house RSLIs.
BSL Translation
Sight translation is suitable for letters or information for individual or personal use.
Publication translations are used for documents or information in the public domain. They are produced in a professional video format for use on websites, information boards and various other platforms.
Deaf Advocates
Our qualified advocate is a native BSL user. Advocates support the Deaf community and empower them to make informed decisions, secure their rights, and obtain services.
Upon request, we are able to provide additional services from external sources such as:
Lip Speakers, Relay Interpreters, Speech to Text reporters, ASL & International Sign Language.

TC (CIC) Community Services
Support Workers
We provide support in areas such as daily living. This includes skills in budgeting, domestic, travel, accessing the local community, developing independence and improving overall quality of life.
Communication Support Workers
These members of our team are a minimum of Level 3 BSL. They enable communication within mainstream social settings, ensuring the client is able to access events and services that their local community has to offer.
Specialist Social Care Assessor
Some members of the Deaf and Deafblind communities have various needs that can only be identified by a specialist through a holistic assessment. They can inform social care professionals of requirements needed to ensure equality in service provisions.
Deaf and Hearing Teachers
We provide training to develop skills in areas of literacy, technology and maths to enable inclusion to the wider communities.
Deafblind Guides
Similar to roles in support work, Deafblind guides have the additional skills to support a Deafblind person with their specific needs.

Transition support for moving within the area or out of the local area.
