Learning and Skills Development

We are delighted to be able to offer you a number of courses for adults (16+) and young people (5-10 and 11-16) including:

• Deaf Awareness
• An Introduction to BSL
• BSL Level 1
• BSL Level 2
• Enrichment. A 6 week bespoke program for the workplace or for Deaf students’ peer groups and teaching staff..

We have a relationship with Deaf Matters who offer courses specifically for the Continuous Professional Development of CSWs.

Tuition

We have encountered many deaf people who need extra support with their literacy and numeracy skills. Allow us to teach them these invaluable skills through their first language and boost their confidence. We offer an initial consultation with one of our specialist tutors, either at the TC offices or in your own home. The subjects our experienced tutors offer are:

• English (primary through to A-Level)
• Mathematics (primary through to GCSE level)
• Revision and exam preparation
• 11+ Exam preparation
• Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning skills
